Black Myth: Wukong to be Offered at a Discount on All Platforms Later this Month

Game Science announced that all digital editions of Black Myth: Wukong are going to be on sale for the first time. The game is being offered at 20% off across all platforms.

On Steam, the discount runs from June 20 to July 11. In addition, on June 27 Black Myth: Wukong is going to be featured in the Steam Summer Sale with the same discount. For the Microsoft Store it starts on June 18 and ends on the same day as the Steam promotion.

For the PlayStation Store, the discount schedule are:

• The Americas: June 18 at 00:00 (PDT) to July 3 at 00:00 (PDT)

• Europe, Africa and Oceania: June 18 at 00:00 (BST) to July 3 at 00:00 (BST)

• Asia: June 18 at 00:00 (JST) to July 3 at 00:00 (JST)

• Mainland China: June 18 at 00:00 (Beijing Time) to July 3 at 00:00 (Beijing Time)

The Standard digital edition is priced at $59.99 with the Deluxe digital edition offered at $69.99. This means during the 20% off promotion, the Standard Edition drops to $47.99 and the Deluxe Edition falls to US$55.99. Note that this is for North America. For pricing in other regions, please refer to the local store.

Xbox Editions

For the Xbox editions, digital pre-orders open on June 18 at 00:00 (UTC+8). Xbox pre-orders also benefit from the same 20% off discount from June 18 at 00:00 (UTC+8) to July 11 at 00:00 (UTC+8). Full release of Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox consoles is slated August 20.

Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20, 2024. It received its first free DLC by December which added an all-new combat challenge. Reports have shown that the game sold 10 million copies across all platforms within its first three days of release. It also set the record for the highest concurrent-player peak ever achieved by a single-player title on Steam according to SteamDB.
