Relive an Iconic Tale with Blade & Soul NEO Now on Steam

NCSOFT announced that Blade & Soul NEO is now available for the PC on Steam free. The game is a remaster of the 10-year-running MMORPG Blade & Soul.

Blade & Soul NEO was first released for PC back on February 25 on PURPLE, which is NCSOFT’s proprietary distribution platform. This launch on Steam benefits players with the availability of two new servers. There's also new free costumes in which players can choose one of two costumes. Players should be happy to know that the game has functional cross-play between Steam and PURPLE.

But wait, there's more! As a bonus, players can join the "New Player Catch-Up Event" which is fully accessible across all servers for new and returning users. A returning user is classified as a player who has been dormant for 30-Days.

Another thing to remember is that Blade & Soul NEO enables more MMORPG fans and game players to experience the wuxia-themed fantasy world in what could be described as its most accessible form. Players get to re-live the original storyline as a hero determined to restore honor to their clan. They can also enjoy the game’s enhanced graphics, fully intact storyline, Infinite Windwalk, intense PvP combat, new combat features, and a powerful character creation tool.

The Story

Blade & Soul NEO invites players on a treacherous adventure where they track down the villains who killed their master. Along the way they get to meet a lot of complex characters and uncover hidden secrets. As the game progresses, players can develop skills and reveal true potential on the way to becoming a master in their own right.

Infinite Windwalk

One interesting feature of the game is that there's no stamina bar. This means players can explore the far reaches of the Earthen Realm with unprecedented freedom. They can scale walls, soar over mountains, and run on water in style with new custom Windwalk animations.

Of course, players can enjoy the iconic action-based combat of the series and this time there's upgraded animation and graphics. They can also switch seamlessly between Classic and "B&S" combat modes as players fight against strong enemies. Meanwhile, the skill extraction system allows for an unprecedented amount of customization as players master the unique skills of the class selected.
