The Spider Queen Arrives in Across the Obelisk

A new DLC pack has been released for Across the Obelisk. It’s a new Hero Pack which adds Tulah, the Spider Queen, to the game. This is priced at $4.99 and available for the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.

Tulah, the Spider Queen, is a former cult priestess. Her addition to the game brings with it new mechanics. Tulah is a unique hero who not only serves a summoner role but also for support. She can use her spiderlings to either overwhelm enemies or protect allies through layered debuffs and healing effects.

Tulah is also a hero unlike any other. That’s because her gameplay revolves around her Broodmother talent tree. It lets players build around aggressive spiderling swarms, poison synergy, or haunting control strategies. She also brings with her a new pet which is the Cocoon. This is a curious creature which has the ability to mutate over time. Depending on choices made by the players, this pet can become a powerful offensive threat or a supportive companion.

In addition to a new hero and an exclusive pet, the new Hero Pack also contains:

• Three chilling skins: Dress Tulah in styles as eerie as they are divine.

• Three Sahti-themed cardbacks: Embrace the spider’s touch with new and sinister deck designs.

• Expanded world dialogue: Experience new event responses and unveil Tulah’s connection to the ancient powers of Sahti.

New Update

The new Hero Pack arrives to the game along with the 1.6 update for Across the Obelisk. It introduces new features along with balance changes and fixes. Read the patch notes here.

Across the Obelisk is a cooperative deckbuilding roguelite role-playing that players can take on solo or experience with friends. Players can choose from a roster of 12 characters and form a party.
