Amenti Studio announced that a demo of The Book of Aaru is now live. Players can access it on Steam. It offers an exclusive sneak peek at what players can expect for the full version.
The demo is also available in different languages that includeEnglish, Czech, Polish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Russian.

The Book of Aaru is the debut title from Amenti Studio. It's an isometric action roguelite that features ancient Egyptian myth and combines it with dark science fiction. Players get to explore lost relics, corrupted tech, shifting tombs, and deadly traps in each run, where new trials and secrets await discovery.
The game has players take on the role of Emily Sands. This daring explorer is onw who mysteriously vanished while looking for the temple of Osiris in 1926. Cursed and stripped of humanity, they'll have to navigate across the intricately hand-crafted trap corridors, where each one presents a unique challenge that demands diverse skills, precise timing, and adaptable strategies.
The Book of Aaru is inspired from genre-defining games that include the likes of Hades and Curse of the Dead Gods. However, it manages to differentiate itself with the unique innovations on the gameplay.
For example, players can experience active meta-progression as they explore and destroy the environment while also uncovering hidden secrets and treasures. They're rewarded for extra initiative and not only for completing levels. Each run is a new story and every story is a step closer to becoming a legend.
