Bringing India to Global Gaming

For the studio, The Age of Bhaarat is being seen as a landmark project that could propel India onto the global gaming map. While India has long been known to be a home to a treasure trove when it comes to legendary lore, the expression in global gaming continues to be largely untapped. To make this happen, the studio merged the country’s creative capital with theAAA production capabilities.

At its core, the studio shared in a statement that their vision is to "empower Indian storytellers" and try to bridge the gap when it comes to culturally rooted stories and cutting-edge game development.

An Epic Tale

As mentioned, bestselling author Amish Tripathi is involved with the development of the game. He is the one responsible for weaving an epic story of duty, betrayal, and ancient power. As a Forest Warden of Anandpur, the choices of the players shape not only their own destiny but the fate of a world that's teetering on the brink of chaos. Players can customize their Forest Warden with weapons and abilities that match their combat style. They can harness mystical artifacts and primal forces to develop their own approach in facing the Demon onslaught.

Along with fighting to defend their homeland, players can explore devastated forests, treacherous mountain peaks, and mystical lakes, to name a few. The game features a lot of and more stunning landscapes that's inspired by timeless sagas like the Ramayana. They get to discover hidden paths and ancient secrets as they venture through a dark fantasy world steeped in Indian history.
